Join us for the 2011-2012 Indoor Winter Training season! No experience necessary! Winter is an excellent time to pick up the sport! Anyone interested in a great team oriented, total body workout, are welcome to join us for a few classes before registering for the season. You can join us Monday Dec. 5th, Wednesday Dec. 7th, Monday Dec. 12th and Wednesday Dec. 14th from 6:15-7:30pm. We hope to see you soon! As IRC does not have a winterized training facility, we will offer coaching on the indoor rowers (ergometers) at the Riviera Club (5640 North Illinois Street). We offer programming for youth and adults daily. Join us!
IRC will receive use of a dedicated erg room for its members in the main building of the Riviera Club (Rivi), in exchange for a group-use fee paid by IRC to Rivi. IRC members do not have to join Rivi, but our use of the facility is limited to the erg area, shower areas, and public events. Rivi members may participate in IRC training without paying the additional facility fee (there is a $10 registration/admin fee. Please register below and choose the Rivi member option). The 3 month winter training fee is $100 for IRC members (adult rowing and masters rowing). It is effective from December 1- March 3rd. In March, the ergs will return to Eagle Creek Park.
