Awarded to the junior boy who displays the best combination of power, technique and leadership in a manner that inspires the best in his teammates.

Awarded to the junior boy who has shown significant change in technique, attitude or leadership over the past year.

Shelia Cornelius Spirit Award (Junior Girls)

Awarded to the junior girl who shows a consistent and infectious spirit and mental toughness which inspires the best in her teammates.  Named in honor of Shelia Cornelius Habbard, a former junior and current IRC sculler.

Coach of the Year Award

Awarded to the IRC Coach who best embodies the IRC core values of  integrity, respect, willingness and spirit to volunteer, and creates an environment where rowers develop character, perseverance, honesty, morality, leadership, balance and the ability to achieve the goals of the team.

Bruce Blackwell Volunteer of the Year

Awarded to a volunteer who has generously given of his/her time and talents for the greater good of IRC.  Named in honor of Bruce Blackwell, who still volunteers at the control commission at IRC regattas
