Indianapolis Rowing Center (IRC)
The Indianapolis Rowing Center (IRC) is a leading rowing organization dedicated to developing athletes, building community, and delivering programs that meet the needs of both recreational and competitive rowers. Located on the world-class Eagle Creek Reservoir, IRC provides facilities that meet national and international competition standards and a full range of programs designed to help every athlete reach their goals.
As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, IRC is committed to expanding access to rowing and ensuring that everyone—regardless of age, background, or experience—has a place on the water.
Our Mission
To develop youth and adults of all social and economic backgrounds through the sport of rowing by providing experienced and knowledgeable instruction, and a variety of skill-enhancing programs.
Our mission drives everything we do—from beginner experiences to high-performance training—and shapes the inclusive, community-focused culture that defines IRC.

Adult Rowing Pathway

Our Home: Eagle Creek Reservoir
IRC rows on one of the premier rowing venues in the United States. Eagle Creek Reservoir has hosted Olympic Trials, National Championships, and major regattas for decades. Its calm water, protected environment, and 8 lane racing-standard course make it an exceptional place to learn, train, and compete.
