Teams: Varsity Girls, Varsity Boys, Novice Girls, Novice Boys

9th - 12th grades

Experience: No experience necessary, start at any point during high school! No Tryouts!

 

The training fee covers coaching, programming, and facility use and is due prior to the first day of practice. Equipment fee goes toward keeping our boats and equipment in good condition.

Please note spring regatta fees will be billed for each regatta attended. Regatta fees cover the athlete's lodging, food, transportation, entry fees, coaching fees, and transporting boats to the regatta. Our athletes travel as a team on chartered buses. 

Those with financial needs are encouraged to apply for a scholarship. Forms must be submitted to Exec@IndyRowing.org by March 1, 2023

*A basic US Rowing membership is not included in the fees but is required to participate.

 

After completing the online registration, you will receive an email with the invoice. Installment plans are available upon request. Please email Billing@indyrowing.org for more details. Please allow for 24 business hours after registration for the invoice to be processed and emailed.

• 4:30 - 6:30 pm M,T,TH,F at Eagle Creek Park, IRC boathouse
• 4:30 - 6:30 pm Wednesdays Lifting at Brebeuf (Optional for Novice)
• 7:00 - 10:00 am Saturdays at Eagle Creek Park, IRC boathouse

 

Two week trial period for new rowers March 8th - March 22nd.

Interested in rowing, but not quite sure what it's all about? We have an option for you!

Practice with our team, and experience for yourself what rowing is all about! Just register for the season using the registration link above. You'll register just like you are registering for the full season.  Then at the end of the two-week trial period, you will have the option to continue with the team. If you decide not to continue, you'll need to email head coach Willie Black at Willie.Black@indyrowing.org of your decision and there is no further obligation.

The trial period is $90 for two weeks. If you decide to continue the trial period fee of $90 will apply toward the full season coaching fees.

Spring regatta fees average between $225-$375 for two-day away competitions. Home competitions average $50. Away regattas include hotel, transportation by coach bus, meals, entry fees, equipment transportation, and coaching fees.

*The regular season is complete after Midwest Championships. Boats that qualify for Nationals will be invited to participate in an extended postseason to compete at nationals. Additional training and regatta fees will be incurred to participate.
